Life Groups are where we most personally embrace the greatest commandments, "Love God, and love your neighbor as yourself." The smaller life group gathering offers an appropriate setting to develop a kind of community that fosters significant, Christ-centered friendships. These close spiritual relationships help empower us to become more like Jesus.
In these smaller groups, we come to know fellow disciples - and are known by them - in ways that lift up our spirits and our souls. There is
more opportunity to ask the hard questions, voice doubts, confess needs, and express grief than in the larger gathering. When Jesus chose twelve to "be with Him," He provided a great model for the growth and development of disciples.
